I grew up listening to mystic and religious stories of India from my grandmother. The vivid descriptions of the tales always excited me. I remembered as a young lad making long train and road journeys to places across the Northern and Southern parts of the country. I remember staring at length from the windows of the train, astonished of the changing colors of the soil, the trees and the water. I strongly believe that it is from there that I carry my passion of travelling; explorations that developed my perceptions about the world and the human relations.
I did my first masters in Heritage Management. I focused to understand how tourism can be leveraged as a mean to conserve the tangible and intangible heritage. This course got me the opportunity to meet diverse people from India and abroad. It inspired me to travel across India and the neighboring countries.
I went ahead and specialized in Tourism from the University of Surrey, ranked among the top universities for this field of study. With an international professional degree in tourism management, I came back to my country to work with select eminent and boutique organization supporting inbound travel.
Over the last five years of my professional experience in this sector I have strongly come to understand the expectations and inhibitions that a traveler has towards exploring India. However one operational area that restricted me in supporting travelers design their dream trips is the operational constraint to make mass package sales within the previews of the limited demand-driven knowledge. In the process I felt that travelers lost out on the options to experience the rich heritage of the country progressively built over the thousands of years of its history.
With CLOUD ITINERARIES, we aim to work with the traveler, sharing knowledge and ideas to support designing the dream trip to suit individual needs and desires.
In our daily lives, stacked with responsibilities and commitments, we understand how significant a holiday and a travel to a different continent can be. It is our aim to ensure that we can support you in having a trip that is worth each penny saved for it.
Let’s dream…let’s get inspired…lets pack…see you soon!

I am a big time foodie and a passionate story-teller. Both these areas of interest have pretty much defined the decisions that I have taken along in life: may that be working with the Santhal tribes in Madhya Pradesh, India and trying the deliciously spicy red ant chutney; working with the children in villages of Orissa, India using stories and theatre as a strategic mode to spread awareness on health and hygiene; or documenting the music and poetry of the Bauls, the mystic minstrels of West Bengal.
A social anthropologist from the London School of Economics, I have had the opportunity to extensively travel across India and work with diverse rural and tribal communities. I specialize and enjoy documenting local lifestyles including the art forms, cuisines and folklores across the country. My aim, through the CLOUD ITINERARIES, is to support travellers get a first-hand experience of enjoying the cultural diversity of India and to plan their visits such that when they return back home the flavors and stories from my land make them want to come back…for a lot more unexplored.
....Let’s take it one memorable trip at a time!
Born and brought up in Kolkata (erstwhile Calcutta), I have grown up watching flocks of tourists crowding the popular destinations interspersed across the bubbling city. I always fell short to understand why the tourists, who could travel across multiple borders to reach India, would be tied to the familiar monuments and not explore the city for all that it can offer. I oh so wished that I could guide them across the Ganges, spot the dolphins and tigers at the early rises of the day, host dinners at the lush green islands, and enjoy freshly brewed cup of tea at the very tea gardens of Darjeeling.
I remember interacting with the foreign exchange students at the Calcutta University, from where I graduated in commerce. They were well read and informed about India, passionate to travel, and dared to explore yet complained about the limited guidance available to support them in safety planning trips across destinations seldom explored by foreigners. I started bag-packing with them. It is then that I learned that select destinations are flocked because rest (with limited popularity or profitability) fall short to be recommended in itinerates.
Over the last 14 years, by extensively travelling across the Indian subcontinent, I have developed my expertise in successfully operationalizing diverse destination products. In my professional experience, I have received acknowledgments for creating almost 99 % complaint free record of guests' travels, both from my management as well as from our guests' feedbacks. I truly believe that to support travelers experience a memorable holiday, dedicated support should be extended right from the time a (fellow) traveler comes up with a thought to travel to India till the time we bid him/her farewell.
It is with this belief, and my experience and network developed over the last 14 years in the sector that, through the CLOUD ITINERARIES, I aim to provide a memorable, comfortable and a seamless tour to our guests.
Make a wish list, ‘things I want to do, see, eat, explore, and take back from India’….let us give you multiple ideas on how to make it all happen!

My love for riding began on a rickety scooter dodged across the ever crowded and narrow lanes of Chandni Chowk, gali Seeta Ram Bazar, Old Delhi, the place where I was born. Born to a perfumer, I grew up amidst samples of natural oils, native perfumery compounds, and food flavors. I carry the passion of exploration and indigenous exotic products till date.
A perfumery entrepreneur and a professional rider, over the last 7 years I have completed more than hundred and fifty thousand kilo meters on my bike travelling the local destinations on road. Of these, over 90,000 kilo meters are across U.K and U.S.A; and about 55,000 kilo meters are in India. These rides have provided me a unique sense of freedom, meaning of being truly happy, and the sense of means to conduct these excursions. Given these experiences, I believe I understand the true meaning of the travel experience and can help others experience the same by leveraging my European and Indian experiences I have gained so far, ensuring you a safe, enjoyable and the journey you expect.
So prepare for the trip and leave the worrying on us. Stay rest assured that the minutest details would be taken care of! Hasta Pronto!
