Sri Lanka is referred as a pearl of Indian Ocean. It’s a small country with a diverse attractions such as: tea plantations, golden beaches, wildlife, marine life and heritage monuments. Sri Lanka is one of the first countries that created national parks. It is also known for its leopard, wild elephants, whale and dolphin’s population. The famous Dutch Galle fort is a colonial treasure and an UNESCO World Heritage Site. This city also attracts authors from all over the world at the time of Galle literary festival. Sri Lanka is also a perfect destination for beach and marine lovers with almost 1600 kms of palm fringed coastline and diverse marine life. Sri Lanka offers most of the beach activities, may it be yachting, scuba diving, windsurfing or just lazing around for the tan. It’s year round prospect because of its two weather system of monsoon winds. South western coast becomes sunny and sea becomes calm when north east winds flow whereas east coast become sunny and sea becomes calm when south west winds flow.

  1. Day 1 Arrive Colombo

    Arrive Colombo and check in at the hotel. Rest of the day is free to relax.

  2. Day 2 Colombo – Pottuvil (340 kms/ 8 hrs)

    Drive to Pottuvil visiting Lahugala elephant sanctuary and Magul Mahaviharaya en-route. Spend the evening at Pottuvil beach.

  3. Day 3 Pottuvil

    Start your day with a visit to Deegawapiya and proceed for an excursion to Kudumbigala and Okanda Devalaya.

  4. Day 4 Pottuvil – Kumana – Yala (100 kms / 3 hrs)

    Drive to Kumana to explore the bird sanctuary and archaeological sites of the sanctuary. Later travel to Yala for overnight stay.

  5. Day 5 Yala – Kataragama (60 kms/ 2 hrs)

    Explore Yala Wildlife Reserve in search for leopards and elephants. Later drive to Kataragama.

  6. Day 6 Kataragama – Galle (170 kms/ 3-4 hrs)

    Visit famous Kataragama temple and drive to Galle to explore the Dutch Galle fort.

  7. Day 7 Galle – Colombo (130 kms/ 2-3 hrs)

    Drive to Colombo and visit National Museum. Rest of the day is free to relax.

  8. Day 8 Depart from Colombo

    Take your departure flight from Colombo.
